Having lost her parents in a road accident in southern San Francisco, California at the age of nine, Brielle "Bree" Dutch grew up living in Jasper, Nevada with her kind hearted elderly maternal grandmother Verity Johns. A month after her nineteenth birthday, she wakes up after a good night's rest in her pajamas in a medical room in a warship to discover she was taken from her room shortly after falling asleep in her bed the night before. The morning after this, Bree is found and taken out of the Nemesis by Auto Bot medic Ratchet, who had been sent to locate her and rescue her by Auto Bot leader Optimus Prime after the Auto Bot team learned of her disappearance from her grandmother.
