Ailee Rivera is a photography student at a school in Boston, where she lives with her brother Xavier. Moving to Boston a few months prior has left her friendless and feeling helpless as she navigates through living in a new city while trying to build her portfolio. When her teacher, Miss Yin, assigns the class to photograph a human subject, to her surprise her brothers friend, August Evanson, offers his services to help her out.
