Inheriting an incurable disease from his late father, Davril Marseeker is a shut-in who's comforts are within the confines of his home. Poor and barely living , Davril's loving mother tries her best to keep both of them alive despite the harsh and cruel world of the Outer Edges of Cyrillia. Being sick and always wondering when death may take him, A childhood friend offers to accompany him in an opportunity of a lifetime he cannot refuse.
