Introduction

Vera Romano has not had any family since she was 13. She makes sure to keep as many people as possible at arms length, apart from her two roommates/best friends.

Vera is the best street racer in the mafia. Although Vera has her feet in the water, she has promised to never jump in because people in that world were the reason she lost the only real family she had.

All of that changes when Vera captures the affection of the King of the mafia, Santiago Desoto. All they can think about is each other. Vera might finally open up to someone about her past, little does she know Santiago Desoto was just the thing that made her family go toppling down.
