The Happy Harpy is a sloop of war, mounting 20 guns and carrying an ever-growing crew, currently counted at 63. At the helm of this ship, called pretty by the most hardened of sailors, stands a bungling captain with a heart of gold and the luck of an idiot on his side. Ryder Bayne is a pirate, mostly in name only. His goals are noble, but his reputation is tangled with those of many generations of fearsome and hated pirates. Everyone on board has a past they're either running from or trying to restore, secrets that could get the crew of the Happy Harpy killed. Captain Bayne's main mission in life is to protect the people he loves, set those free who have been forced into hiding by the evil deeds of others, create a new and better future for himself and his crew and restore their world to one of balance, goodwill, and peace... and to eat as many pickled olives as he can get his hands on. Yes, Captain Ryder Bayne has some lofty ideals... especially for the son of a notorious pirate. This is a work of fiction.
