S1:E1 A Figure on the Bridge

"One plus one is two. Two plus two is four. Four plus four is eight-" Jacob Nook groaned listening to the sound of the little girl's voice. "Please tell me that's normal." The child therapist looked up at him with a snort. "Jacob, your daughter is far from normal." *** For Gamma Nook, life is merely one number after the next. She sees numbers everywhere and in everything. Most would classify her as either a genius or a total nut job. Her immaculate ability to find numerical correlations and translate those numbers into data is what drove her to where she was now, sitting on the edge of a bridge railing calculating the exact timing of when she'd hit the water below.
