Description
Kahlil is a young man who has turned to a life of crime to survive in the underworld. One night, he meets a girl named Nia at a party. Things got wick but Malik never expected to see her again. However, a few weeks later, Nia shows up at Kahlil's door, pregnant with his child. Kahlil is stunned and unsure of how to react. Despite their differences in age (Nia is only 17 or 18, while Malik is 21 share a sense of responsible Kahlill is forced to confront the harsh realities of his life of crime. He's torn between his desire to provide for his family and his knowledge that the world he lives in is a dangerous place that's likely to catch up with him sooner or later Nia is grappling with the challenges of being a young, woman in the city. She feels isolated and alone, but she's determined to provide the best life she can for her even if it means making difficult decisions.
