"Thompson was extremely young for a police officer, he had only really been accepted into the squad because in a small town like this, the townspeople didn't really give a shit about who ran what, just as long as there weren't any issues. Only a few months ago had he gotten his badge, it still felt new and shiny. In his early twenties, he didn't think he'd ever be able to work law enforcement anywhere else than in his hometown. Still, he really liked the job, at the end of every day he would be able to park his issued hunk of junk vehicle up on the cliff edge next to the lighthouse and watch the sunset on the ocean. Not many people would consider the job of an officer of the law a peaceful job, but he thought it was, even with his fat crappy coworkers and busted up equipment."
