Prologue

The world is fractured, on the brink of all-out war.
The gods have long since abandoned the mortal plane, and dragons are poised to fill the void left by their absence. The first order of business is stirring up the lizardfolk empire, the Tsu, to take the holy city, Talagai.
This is a problem for Ernst Torinson, a young paladin training at the academy there. At the same time, his brother Aitus, the crown prince, must forge alliances quickly if is to have any chance of saving either his brother or the world.
