Prologue

The continent of Hallovan is a place of lies, secrecy, and misdirection. Thorold, a seeker for the long-defunct Grey Order, reluctantly returns home to Skyre's Folly to help a friend and becomes embroiled in a mystery that threatens to have wider ramifications not just for his friends but for the crown itself and a rising darkness that threatens to upend the understanding of how Hallowvan was founded over a thousand years ago.
