Layla is a young woman who has recently gone through a difficult breakup. She's feeling lost and alone and struggles to find meaning in her life. One day, she stumbles upon a carousel at the local fair. Despite her sorrow, the bright lights and music of the carousel seem to offer a brief respite from her pain. As Layla takes a seat on one of the carousel horses, she notices a handsome young man on the horse next to hers. Despite her initial apprehension, she strikes up a conversation with him, and they instantly hit it off. Layla is drawn to the young man, who seems to understand her pain and offers her a shoulder to cry on. For the first time in a long time, Layla feels like she's not alone.

As the carousel ride comes to an end, Layla begins to feel a growing sense of longing for the young man. She finds herself spending more and more time at the fair, hoping to bump into him again. But as she continues to chase after him, she starts to feel like she's going in circles. The harder she tries to catch his attention, the more distant he seems to become. Layla starts to feel like she's trapped in a cycle of longing and disappointment, never able to reach the one she loves.
