Description
Tori Parks is many things. A teenage volunteer at a New Hampshire hospice center. College-bound, with a bright future. A girl with the potential to do something great. Until the summer she turns 15, where she befriends fellow volunteer Jude Reid. Little does Tori know, Jude is involved with death herself, and is looking for a replacement-which will be Tori, weather she likes it or not. Tori is introduced to a part of the world she would have rather stayed hidden. Suddenly, Tori's future is not glistening with hope-she knows where she is going, what's coming next. But when there is a spree of murders among the residents of hospice, Tori is forced to step up into her new role to find the culprit. Things lose clarity, and Tori realizes that Jude has more secrets than she realized.
