A year after Kion's coronation. Lion guard are patrolling in the Tree Of Life, when suddenly a group of rogue lions sneaks in and attack the Tree Of Life. When the Lion guard and Night pride defend their home, Kion suddenly gets hit by a lion and falls into a river where he hits a large boulder on his head. He wakes up not to remember anything.
