Freshman and Junior?

This book is about two highschool crushers Leilani and Ericc.
They seem to both be hallway crushing on each other, Ericc Just moved from the UK last year to the USA, to get away from his abusive mom. His dad isn't any better though. Leilani has a very nice mom, but does not except Ericc as Leilani's boyfriend, but takes him in for a while until his father can get better.
