Elijah (Lye) was anything but normal to begin with, since he was young he'd always felt different from girls his age. He realized that its okay to be trans and adopted the term almost immediately after discovering it. He's been ridiculed for years , but hadn't yet learned that it doesn't matter what you look like or how you identify, people are jerks. So when he gains an odd ability he has to hid it, but word gets around quickly and he isn't so sure how long his secret will hold up.

Freakshow is about Lye trying to survive high school and use his ability to bring good to the world at the same time.
