Chapter 1

"I don't need you to protect me." I almost shouted flinging his hand off me.
"Really? Those bruises say otherwise." He challenged.
"I could have handled it!" I yelled ready to punch him in the throat.
"Maybe I want to help you! Maybe I fucking love you and.. and.. I can't stand to see you hurt." He was forceful and loud but broke into almost a whisper at the end. "I.. love you."
