TITLE CHANGE FROM "The Last of the Dragons" Over a thousand years ago, half-human, half-dragon hybrids known as Draca's ruled the world. With luxuries and riches and abilities that mortals yearned for, they were an impenetrable force. They were an empire. But throughout history, even the strongest empires have crumbled to pieces. The Draca's empire was no exception to this. Slain to the very brink of extinction, the dragon hybrids were almost completely wiped out. Almost. Few made it through, continuing the dragon lineage. Some of them birthed new lines of dragons and died off. Some of them still alive from the very dawn of the dragon. And Alyssa Craven was one of them. The largest dragon known and the oldest. The Emerald Queen. Her and her younger sister had slipped through the cracks and had been trying to coexist peacefully in a modern world. Until a war emerges between the last of the dragons, forcing Alyssa to finally arise from the shadows she secluded herself in. And in a war of dragons, the few that are left, become even fewer.
