Description
Sunflowers are famous not only for their bright yellow petals, and tall green stems but also because they are heliotropic---the movement of a plant to follow the sun as its orienting stimulus---which always make them face the sun. Just like how Liwanag never tore her eyes away from Maximus, the boy she has always liked ever since sixth grade. But the only difference is that, unlike the sun, he never looked back the way she did. Although this didn't discourage her at all---she, after all, was the embodiment of a sunflower---she remained optimistic, kind, and bubbly regardless. But when an opportunity enlightens her lovestruck mind, Liwanag decides to take the risk---to take the chance of being able to lock eyes with Maximus---but it may cost the tears of a sunflower.
