There were 6 Champions and 5 Divine Beasts. One of the Hylians, one of the Zora, one of the Gorons, one of the Gerudo, one of the Rito, and one of the Gigas. The five Divine Beasts were created 10,000 years ago. Around the same time, a sorcerer created a powerful relic made from an immeasurable source of power and entrusted it to the Gigas.
