Six years after the events of The Originals Equilibrium, Elijah and his family have grown accustomed to being in hiding. That is until Nathan experiences a magic surge which forces Elijah to return home to New Orleans, to keep his family his safe. Avoiding detection from his siblings, Elijah must protect his children from the dangers waiting for them in the outside world, even if said danger was his own family. Hiding in plain sight amongst the pack until it was safe to leave, Elijah had no idea how long he could keep up his façade. But with no way to contact Serena Peterson, he had no choice.
