Draken had caught feelings for Mikey, Draken loved helping him and always being around him all the time no matter how childish Mikey was. Draken felt bad for Emma he knew she liked him even though she hadn't confessed yet, it was almost like common knowledge in the gang.

Also in this fanfic they are all still a gang and stuff, but Takemichi doesn't have his time traveling powers so he is just a member of the gang. (Spoiler if you haven't finished season 1) This takes place before Baji dies, and he is still good with the gang and didn't go to Valhalla.
