McKenna met Rocket when he had landed in planet Xandar, she took him in even though it took him a very very long time to trust her. Groot was her friend- they grew a tight bond- they were protective of each other... Rocket liked him a little bit more then McKenna. And she didn't hold it against him, she thought It must had something to do with humans because he always hid away when she came around.
