Sonic and Shadow were two hedgehogs who never got on good terms,like ever.

The two would always bicker and fight whenever they see eachother,which started to slowly annoy the others because of the two hedgehogs being annoyingly loud

B ut a certain bat-Rouge-knew that Shadow's feelings towards the blue hedgehog was the complete opposite,infact,Shadow was COMPLETELY obsessed with the blue azure hedgehog.

The obession got so unhealthy that Shadow would go so far to keep the blue azure hedgehog his,even if it means he needs to get rid of annoying pests that seems to always cling onto Sonic,such as Amy.

Of course,Rouge knew about his...tactic,to make sure the pests stays away from Sonic, permanently.
But being the trustworthy friend she is,Rouge kept her mouth shut and decided to not say anything that could cause conflict.

Meanwhile,Sonic and the others were confused because of several citizen's disappearance.
