A young, lost, scared Zuko finds himself alone in an Earth Kingdom forest and accidentally joins a gang of other kids fighting against the Fire Nation. He lives there for six years until the Avatar shows up at their hideout and end up getting recruited to help stop the war that his family had been razing across the world for over a hundred years.

Or, Jet finds Zuko, takes care of him and recruited him into the Freedom Fighters. Plus, good dad Ozai, Fire Lady Ursa, evil Iroh and alive Lu Ten.
