Princess Kalani was mostly adored by her tribe. Blithe, skilled, and spent many of her days hunting or training with her fellows and friends. At her 11th, the isles are overjoyed that the esteemed youngest of the royal family had summoned a spirit animal, unlike her eldest brother. Then, one day during a hunting trip, Kalani receives a letter from Olvan, the leader of the greencloaks, inviting her to train with the greencloaks and to become one. To her older brother's envy, she accepts.
