Alara, a half-vampire shut-in struggling to find her place in the world, meets Dominique, a food delivery guy who shows her the joys of exploring the city and trying new foods. As they spend more time together, Alara begins to open up and let go of her fears, discovering a new side of herself and a possible new direction in life. However, their relationship is complicated by Alara's supernatural nature and the challenges that come with it, as well as Dominique's own struggles with his past and present. Together, they navigate the ups and downs of their relationship and the world around them, ultimately learning to accept and love each other for who they are.
