Prologue

When three unaffiliated students of Holoman University in Salem, Massachusetts inherit prodigious abilities, life turns to a game where consequences are unheard of. But as the power goes to their heads and their morals crumple like paper, they realize that as long as there are three of them, no one of them is truly at the top. Meanwhile, as the omnipotent entity who bestowed upon them their otherworldly gifts watches the ensuing pandemonium, it's proven to the universe that mortals are simply not made for the miraculous.
Is there any hope for them at all?
