Amanda Halifax has been a teacher in California since she graduated college in Minnesota. At the start of a new school year, a new student named Luther Synek intrigues her. To her surprise, his father is Prince Nelson, a former classmate from high school that seems to remember more about her than she does about him. Once they finally meet, he shows her exactly how close they were and he finds out why she can't remember anything from her past. When they spend time together, they reminisce and he shows her everything she forgot.
