In Lyra, it is an honor to fight for the Kingdom, which has been battling demons for centuries. Only the best, or richest, fighters get the chance to join the force. They call themselves The Lorem Milites, LM for short.

Juno lives in the slums of Lyra together with her mother, who is a poor tailor. Juno only has one goal; joining the LM, which is deemed impossible as a poor girl. But she is determined to fight her way to the top, so she can help her loved ones.
