Chapter 1: Monsters and Burning Castles

Setting in the year 4070, a teenage vampire Lumine, finds herself on the run with her father and their familiar after their castle is destroyed by humans. Seeking refuge, they arrive in Erebus, the safe haven and city of vampires. While awaiting the Elders' decision on a new castle, Lumine must navigate the challenges of fitting in with her fellow vampiric teenagers and adapting to the wonderful horrors of high school. Amidst this, Lumine embarks on a personal journey to learns what it means to truly be a vampire.
