Felix was struggling in his life economically and relationship-wise. Having a part job as a cafe waiter and working as a stripper at night that doesn't get paid enough and having a boyfriend who only cares about you for sex wasn't an A-plus life. Felix couldn't afford to break up with him because he helped support him financially and his jobs were the best jobs he could get.
