But Lord knows this isn't the only promise I've broken, and I doubt it will be the last. I know Connall is innocent. At least innocent of the crime he's being blamed for. But he's still guilty of more than he thinks I know or understand. He was just too stupid to realize that his apologies had not absolved him of what he's done.
