Amerie liked to think she was a pretty average teenager. She worked hard but made time for fun. She smoked a little, drank a little, and made poor decisions. One of which ended in more pain and tears than any other experience.

This story is based in truth. It is a retelling of my experience as a teenager dating an adult. All names are changed for privacy reasons.
