Juliette's family is famous in the sports world. Her oldest brother Finian plays in the NFL for the Cowboys. Her other older brother Nolan plays in the NHL for the New Jersey Devils. She herself plays women's lacrosse for UNC.

The summer after she turns 21, she goes back home to Michigan and finds herself wrapped up in a hockey player named Trevor. The only downfall is that Finian doesn't approve of Juliette dating Trevor. So they have to keep it a secret from their friends and family.
