going back "home"

merlin and arthur are going on a hunting trip when bandits come, merlin has no other choice but to use magic, arthur sees this and sees merlin as a monster, even tho he has feelings for merlin he sends him back to ealdor. years later he comes back for revenge. but camelot is not doomed. king arthur convinces merlin to stop this madness.
