Chapter 1

In 1773, at the mere age of 13, Adrienne de Noailles is arranged to marry wealthy orphan Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette. They get married months later when she is only 14, luckily falling in love. But for the two teenagers, a single decision made by her husband would change everything.

I'm not a historian and there's not a lot of info about Adrienne on the internet, so this might be historically inaccurate. I am mostly writing this for fun and other people's enjoyment.
