Chapter 1: A New Face

Richard and his friend Hex were spending some quality time together, doing some gardening in their little flower patch. Hex looked at his dear friend and smiled wide. Richard returned it with a weak smile. Hex looked at him puzzled.

"Richard?"

"Sorry Hex, I'm just a bit tired..."

Hex started to frown. "Can you answer a question for me?"

"Of course Hex, what's wrong?" Richard asked.

"....Why do good people die?"

Richard smiled sadly.

"When you go into a garden, what flowers do you pick?"
