Pauline is a star singer, and the mayor of new donk city. She appreciates everyone in her life, and was more than overjoyed to see her long-lost friend, Mario, again on his mission to save his girlfriend, Peach.

So, she is composing a new song, but is having trouble. She gains idedas and confidence through a series of flashbacks of her and Mario's relationship throughout his adventure.
