"Geet" I whispered her name, pulling her closer to me, my voice low and gravelly as I whispered into her ear.

She turned around, her eyes holding a storm.

She stopped when I caught hold of her throat, my body became rigid even at the mention of that .

"It will drive me to that brink of madness where I might become a murderer or dyin-" my words were cut off as she placed her hand upon my lips.

"I will never betray, Amrit," she promised, looking into my eyes.

"For me, 'betrayal' word stopped existing the day you entered my life," I replied, my loyalty never wavering .
