Description
In the midst of the Apocalypse War between humans and angels, Diletta, a disabled young woman, is on a mission to rescue the archangel she is in love with from a secret US military base, jeopardizing humanity's fate in the process. When Heaven's legions descended on Earth, the world rejoiced. But humanity's leaders refused to surrender their power to angels, and a war broke out that left civilization in ruins. Things seemed to turn in humankind's favor when the US army succeeded in capturing the commander of the celestial army and now holds him prisoner in an underground secret military base in New Mexico. Diletta moved to Rome from the States just before the angels arrived, to start her life over, after a serious accident left her disabled and heavily depressed. Obsessed with Heaven's commander, she is hellbent on saving him, even though it could cost her her life as well as everybody else's. The guilt is eating her up, but she can't stop. Is Diletta completely crazy or is there something else going on? With the help of two zealot priests, a fallen angel, and an Apache delivery man, Diletta is on her way to rescue the man of her dreams and condemn everyone else. Or is she? Handsome angels? Check. Terrifying demons? Check. Romance? Of course! Adventures? Plenty. Humor? You bet. And two or three bottles of vodka.
