Chapter One

Aalya is a fourteen-year-old girl, with abusive brothers, and a strong will to stay alive. But no matter how hard she tries to stay together, she can feel the millions of tiny fractures in her heart. She feels helpless, and it seems that her purpose is only to be a punching bag and spectator for her family's hatred and heartbreak. She truly feels - lost.
In a desperate grasp at some kind of hope, she leaves her window open one night. But what she gets is not at all what she expected.
