"Why does it matter?" Vincent asked sternly. "Please, give me a good reason."

God, those hazel eyes. It didn't matter if he was furious or if he was upset, they were mesmerizing and I couldn't point out a single flaw in him, not one.

"Because," I started. "I came all this way to find you, Vin. I never expected to, either. It was only a hopeless wish I had. Damn it.. You saved me. Do you know how much that means to me?"
