"Get three artichokes today," Ken said to April and then was killed in a car accident. Five months have passed, and still the curtains of April's room remain closed. Every week, April buys three artichokes, hoping her Ken will come home. "This is limbo. I'm not dead, nor alive," as she says this, she hears Ken's voice, "No, you go out." Are the three artichokes the key to his death? Who on earth was Ken, the man she loved? On the other side of earth, Kenta decides to visit his family and friends, leaving Japan for Los Angeles.
