When the Originals came to town, Marley and her family was forced to expose themselves. That they are immortals and Warlocks, Shadowhunters and Marley wanted to forget that part of her live, but we can't burry our past. Also they went to New York for a bit, they went to Alec's grave as they saw an old Izzy, Clary and Jace. Clary and Jace had their children with them.
