This is a sequel to the first story, Black Widow's Spiderling, where after the events of Civil War, Daikon is now deemed a criminal after refusing to sign the Accords and freeing the Rogue Avengers. As shown in the end credits, this is a continuing of his story where he rises to being, not a hero or villain, but a Force of Nature.
