Chapter 1: The Day Before Summer Break

Ariana wasn't a typical teen. Her family were millionaires. They lived in a mansion next to the beach. One day Ariana and her best friend Kendall were out shopping the local outlets in their town. Ariana & Kendall come across an antique book store. They walk in and are greeted by a lady who seemed to be in her 40's. As Ariana is walking around the book store, she seems to trip and bump into a shelf of books. As she falls a couple of books fell with her. She then was picking the books up. As she was picking the books up, a thick light blue book stood out from the rest. The book had 'MERMAIDS' carved into the cover of the book.
