Chapter One - The House

Cleo Wetherbone is finally moving into a place of her own, along with some friends. The house is rumored to be haunted, but that doesn't bother Cleo. She knows how to handle a ghost or two. There also seems to be an abundance of cats. The cats aren't the only mysterious creatures to show up at her door though, and she finds herself increasingly busy with strange little surprises. This whole having-a-house-and-figuring-out-adult-life thing is way more to handle than Cleo originally thought it would be. Maybe she's in over her head. Maybe becoming a detective is the last thing on earth she has time for. But sometimes life just happens anyway.
