Description
The pirates of Neverland have not a single clue what to do with their latest plunder, a woman washed ashore with nothing but soggy skirts and a pocket watch. Taking the name Croc, she grabs the attention of the hot-headed captain of the Jolly Roger, Jas. Hook. Now, he must decide what to do with her and, likewise, what she will do with him. While Croc struggles to remember herself, Hook sees an opportunity to finally best that damned Peter Pan. But when they learn Peter has left the island of Neverland once again, Croc and crew find a new life aboard the Jolly Roger and Hook's interest turns from opportunity to infatuation as they wait for Peter to return. Island Come True is a retelling of the literary classic 'Peter and Wendy' by J.M. Barrie, told through the lens of the pivotal but oft-forgotten character, the crocodile. It is rated Mature for adult themes including sexual violence and, separately, loss of pregnancy, and takes place before the original novel's events.
