meredith obrien had a summer love with joe burrow, the summer he got drafted to the cincinnati bengals. joe wanted to make sure he had one last normal summer before his life changed forever.

meredith never believed in love until she met joe and spent the entire summer with him. after that once in a life time summer ended though, joe and meredith went there separate ways and haven talked since.

two years later, meredith gets a new job working with the cincinnati bengals. when she runs into joe she immediately recognizes him as her summer love years ago.

will feelings reemerge? or was it just summer love?
