Prologue

"You're still trying to protect me. Real or not real." I whisper as not to wake anyone up.

"Real, because that's what you and I do. Protect each other." She whispers back, a slight glimmer in her eyes. I nod, and turn my head, resting it on the metal bar. The last thing I remember as I shut my eyes was a slight sniffle and a hiccup before seeping into the darkness.
